Facts & Figures

Roppongi (means "six trees") district is part of Minato-ku and famous for its nightlife. Many embassies are located in Roppongi, which makes it a very popular living area for foreigners. Huge redevelopment projects in recent years like the Izumi Garden Tower, Roppongi Hills or Tokyo Midtown gave this district an additional boost. History

In 1923 during the Great Kanto Earthquake Roppongi was completely destroyed and the same happened in the bombings of World War 2.
